I was sitting here yawing and drawing a blank,

when I heard a scuffle and my heart sank,
I peered out into the hall following the noise,
to see the kitten maintaining such grace and poise,
ducking and dodging the puppy's swift swacks,
as he played a rousing game of Whac-A-Cat.

The kitten would love to subtract some things from her life.

I've been so bad about posting, I'm going to work on subtracting some things too so I can get back to it, right after the ncaa tourney is over (but not the dogs! sorry kitten!)
