illustration friday - garden

I was going through some boxes and came across some photos I took of the tree of life in Bahrain. Its survival is a mystery, living in the desert without any apparent water source for over 600 years. Maybe it lives off of coffee like I do. So, for no apparent reason, I doodled the garden of eden. (I also realized I still draw like I did in the third grade so not everything evolves).

This is just the kind of art kids love! They would love the innocence of your kind of art. The characters are adorable. The cat and the dog both have cat and dog personalities. Great interpretation!

Great fun! Love the cat tempting the dog with a bone (well, I just love the cat really!)

Picasso said he spent his life trying to remember how to draw like a child, so don't sweat it. :-)

And the cat should have the halo.
