I am very late posting, I did this on the airplane home from our t-day trip, but couldn't think of anything to put in their thought balloons, so I've decided to leave them as blank as I am.
And now I've realized that they are thought "bubbles" not balloons, which would explain why they're empty.

Balloons, bubbles, hey, they all get the thoughts across, or the blankness across... and I agree with Lolo that a blank mind is good now and again... it's meditative!
