illustration friday - magnify

The skylight in my new office magnifies the sound of the raindrops which we haven't heard in awhile, it never rained in southern california. The kitten is liking her new digs. We all survived the trek cross-country.

We're almost all moved in, I still haven't found some of my art supplies, I'm sure they're in a brown box somewhere. Happy to report the dogs are not afraid of thunderstorms which they've never experienced before.

Here are some pics from the trip:

quite a trip! Lovely illustration. I am sure you will find that box very soon... it might be the first one you open.

This is so exciting! Another blogger moves East. I didn't realize the kitten had two rather large doggy friends. We've been on the go constantly, with a 3,000 mile trek from Edinburgh to Stockholm via southern England. We went through the Eurotunnel; the only way to go with the dogs, who were wonderful travellers. Good luck on settling in.

I can relate to the kitty that rules...we have 3. Cute illo and sweet interpretation. Listening to the sound of raindrops can be very calming.

Welcome back, Erin! Glad to hear everyone made it safe and sound to your new home. :-)

Good to hear the dogs are not afraid of thunderstorms (ours is terrified, the poor thing), and that kitty is liking her new digs.

I missed you too!

I came back to this post to tell you that when we had our first thunderstorm, Emma barked at the ceiling after the loud cracks and booms! Hilarious, like it came from upstairs.
Well, it did I guess!
